Why should a valet parking company sign up with Valet Fetch?
Valet Fetch is a software service that allows customers to pre-fetch their vehicle via text message, voice call or the internet.
Why do I care if customers can pre-fetch their vehicle?
Your competition will do it if you don't. Plus people love to use their mobile phones and this gives them the perfect opportunity to do so.
How much does the Valet Fetch service cost and who pays for it?
Monthly service fee costs $175.00 + tax (unlimited customer locations). Each incoming phone number costs $1.00 + tax per month. Each text, voice or web transaction has a different price structure. A typical ticket request would be about 5 cents. New tickets may have to be printed and is an additional cost. Valet company pays all charges.
Here is an example of the charges.
Valet company has 450 ticket requests for the month. So for the month, charges are $175.00 monthly fee, $1.00 incoming phone number, 250-text messages x .05 = $12.50, 100-voice calls x .05 = $5.00, 100-internet requests x .05 = $5.00. Total monthly charge would be $198.50 + tax.
Am I charged if the customer enters the incorrect number or if they duplicate their requests?
Yes. A transaction is always charged because there is a cost involved even if the customer gets the number incorrect or duplicates a request.
Does Valet Fetch use the ticket number to pre-fetch vehicle?
Yes and Sorta. Ticket number can be used. Or for more security and less errors, ticket number is used to generate a unique number. The number will be printed on the ticket and that is the number used to pre-fetch vehicle.
Will I have to print new tickets?
Yes and No. Using the ticket number, you can either print the instructions on the ticket or use a different method for instructions. Using the more secure method you will have to print new tickets.
Will I need to purchase any equipment?
No. Valet Fetch assumes that your employees all have mobile phones with unlimited texting and you have access to a computer with internet for system management.
Do you offer a free trial?
Sorta. Valet Fetch will waive the $175.00 monthly fee for 30 days but you will still be required to pay the transaction and ticket printing charges.
Is a contract required? What about cancellation policy?
No contract is required but you must agree to our terms and conditions. Service is on a month to month basis. Cancellation can be at any time and prior notice is not required. The $175.00 monthly service fee is not prorated if you cancel in the middle of the month.
What is the upside to trying Valet Fetch?
More people may use your service just because they can use their phone to pre-fetch vehicle. I'm amazed at what people do with their phones. More cars that are valet parked should generate more tips and possibly more parking revenue.
What is the downside to trying Valet Fetch?
Valet Fetch will require a little bit of time everyday to make sure employees are assigned to the correct location. Valet Fetch has some charges that you normally wouldn't have. Ticket printing cost should be about the same or a little more that what you currently pay. So basically, just a little time and money.
